The short, readable version

Policies without
the fog.

These notes explain what a transfer needs, how long it remains available, and what happens when its window closes.

Privacy

Terminus uses the minimum information needed to prepare and deliver a transfer. Public transfer pages can be opened by anyone with their link; recipient-only transfers require the account selected by the sender.

Transfer data

File names, sizes, delivery settings, and basic access events are retained for the lifetime of a transfer. Transfer files are removed when they expire or when the sender removes them.

Browser data

We do not sell audience profiles or place advertising cookies. Essential session data may be stored to keep a signed-in workspace available.

Terms

Use Terminus only for files you have the right to share. Do not use transfers to distribute malware, evade another service's restrictions, or expose personal information without permission.

Availability

Transfer links are temporary by design. Senders are responsible for keeping their own source copies; Terminus is a delivery service, not a permanent archive.

Fair use

Automated bulk traffic and attempts to interfere with the service may be limited. Ordinary personal and team handoffs remain unaffected.
